Welcome to my catalog of pre-built models and model kits of the Dodge Stealth and Mitsubishi 3000GT.
Most of these items I do not own, but I have captured images from various sources on the Internet.
I know there is more out there, and if you know of such, please contact me at the bottom of the page.
Hold the mouse over each image for the pop-up box telling you what it is.

Mitsubishi 3000GT Model Kits |
|
|
Plastic model kits of the 3000GT are nearly impossible to find. I tracked down the Tamiya GTO model in a hobby store, and
actually had them special order it for me. Ran me nearly $30!! The Lindberg I've never seen personally but obviously it exists
out there somewhere...

Model kit #6956. One of the first model kits released for the Dodge Stealth. Plastic was red.

Yes, a pacecar for the Indianapolis 500, in 1991. Well what happened is the Stealth was supposed to be the pacecar for that year,
but since it was not "American made", it was replaced the Dodge's new and home-built Viper. But this was a last minute change and
promotional materials and other stuff was already made... Model kit #6806.

AMT/Ertl kit #6166. This 1992 series model R/T Turbo came in white as a base color.

Kit number 8606. This 1993 series model R/T Turbo came in black as a base color.

Kit number 6687. This 1993 series model R/T Turbo came in white as a base color and was a snap-tite model.

This kit is from Lindberg, kit #72501. It's base color was red, and was a larger 1/20 scale than the other 1/25 scale models that AMT
was putting out. That's about 3/4" or so difference in length.

AMT/Ertl kit #8072. This 1994 series model R/T Turbo came in red as a base color.

Kit number 6543. This 1995 series model R/T Turbo came in yellow as a base color.

This model came from the short-lived television series "Viper". Apparently they had an episode or two that featured a black
Stealth in addition to the viper they used. If you watch USA or TNT other cable channels like that, you can still catch
the series in reruns. I think it ran one full season and was cut about half way through the second (but I'm not positive it even
lasted that long...). No kit number. This 1995 series model R/T Turbo came in black as a base color.

This kit features a black First Generation Stealth Twin Turbo and a Chevy S10 Pickup. Not sure of the kit number yet. |

Stealth Dealer Promotional Models |
|
|
While AMT/Ertl put out quite a few model kits for the Dodge Stealth over the 5 years it was a production car, they also
put out a series of pre-built models that were used as dealer promos. These were assembled and painted using colors to match the factory colors,
then shipped to dealers to have on-hand for their displays, desks, giveaways, whatever. Apparently there were a lot of extras
as some hobby stores have them, and they are fairly easy to come by, even now.

I have presented all the available years, and actually all of the colors that I know exist. I have never seen any of the various shades
of blue the Stealth was availalbe in, nor the champagne.

Do you have something I don't have shown here?
If you have something, I would love to have an image and description of it to be added to these pages. You've seen
